Privacy Policy

ATS Resume Pilot ("we", "our") builds the resumes and cover letters you create using this app. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's protected.

What we collect

• Account info: your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your profile photo — handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Resume & cover letter content: whatever you enter into the builder — work history, education, skills, contact details, and any text you generate with the AI tools.
• Uploaded files: if you use "Import from existing CV," the file you upload is sent to our AI provider to extract text and is not stored by us afterward.

How we use it

Your resume and cover letter data is stored so you can come back and keep editing it — that's the entire purpose of collecting it. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your resume content to train AI models.

When you use an AI feature (generating a summary, rewriting a bullet, importing a CV, matching against a job description), the relevant text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the result. That request happens through our own server, not directly from your browser.

Where it's stored

Account data and resume/cover letter content are stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). Access is restricted by security rules so that only you — authenticated as your account — can read or write your own data. No one else, including other signed-in users, can access it.

Third parties

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage.
• Anthropic — processes text you submit to AI-powered features.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your resume and cover letter content at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us using the details below and we'll remove your account and associated data.
